How long does an Indian number take to activate?

Days rather than weeks once KYC is in, and the delay is almost always an outstanding document rather than the carrier. We name which one instead of leaving you to guess at it.

Do we need our own DLT registration?

You need a principal entity registration in your own name — that is the regulator's requirement, not ours. We file it with you and manage the headers and templates on top of it.

Can we port our existing 1800 number?

Yes. Toll-free and local numbers both port, and the old ones keep taking calls on your current stack until the cutover window we agree in advance.

Is call recording allowed on Indian numbers?

Yes, with disclosure. Recording announcements are configurable per campaign and per region, and consent state travels with the contact across every channel.

Where is the call data stored?

In the Mumbai region, including backups, when that is the residency you choose at account setup. It does not move afterwards without a written change.
