Port an existing number into Hyperdial
Move a number you already own from another provider, without losing a call while it happens.
Porting moves a number you already own onto Hyperdial's network. The number, and everyone who calls it, carries on working throughout — the change happens at the carrier, not at your desk.
Before you start
Gather these. A port is rejected far more often for a mismatched detail than for anything technical:
- A recent bill from the current provider, showing the account number and the service address.
- The account holder's name exactly as the current provider has it.
- A Letter of Authorisation (LOA), which we generate for you to sign.
- Confirmation that the number is not mid-contract or subject to a port freeze.
Submit the port
- Open Numbers → Port a number.
- Enter the number, or paste a list to port several at once.
- Upload the recent bill and fill in the account details from it.
- Review and sign the generated LOA.
- Select Submit port request.
How long it takes
- India — 7 to 14 working days, subject to DoT approval.
- US and Canada — 3 to 7 working days for most numbers.
- UK and EU — 5 to 10 working days.
- UAE and Singapore — 10 to 20 working days, with additional documentation.
